Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in the city of New York on the 22nd of November 1984) The versatility of her work as an actor has garnered many accolades in everything from the dramas of the past, to thrillers and adventure. Johansson grew up in New York City as the daughter of an architect, and also a production company. Her twin brother Hunter and she were her youngest siblings. At the age of seven years old, her love of acting had increased. Her first audition was for commercials. She became interested in acting rapidly and she soon after to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then had her first appearance in a film in North (1994), directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson appeared next on screen in Just Cause (1996), however it was Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The movie is about two orphaned girls who are running away. The Horse Whisperer (2000), in which she played a teenager with a deformity caused by an accident, earned her critical acclaim. After that, in Ghost World 2001 (as the cynical teenage outcast Rebecca) Johansson was awarded the attention of a whole new generation. Her most well-known role is her role as Nell Jones (on CBS' popular show NCIS Los Angeles). She's among the major characters. Aside from appearing in this show, she's a skilled stage actor. She has given one of the most memorable performance, such as in Wildflower. Renee Felice's career in the world of entertainment started from a young age. As a child, she became fascinated with acting. With the help from her parents, Smith was offered her first role in the acting world when she was just six. She starred in a TV commercial for Dannon yogurt. Similar to many actors starting out, she chose to refine her craft in the world of theatre. While working on different projects in the USA she made her theatrical debut in Wildflower. Her education was at The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
